Ambassador: referrals

See who sends you business, follow it through to closed deals, and reward the people behind it.

About 5 minutes · Running the shop

The people who already love you are your best marketing channel, and most businesses never find out who they are. Ambassador keeps score: who referred whom, what that business turned into, and who's owed a thank-you.

1Record referrals

  1. Mark the relationship. On any contact's card, set referred by. That one link is the seed of everything here.
  2. Or hand out referral links. Each advocate can get a trackable link. Anyone who arrives through it is attributed automatically.

2Read the leaderboard

  1. Open Ambassador in the left menu. The leaderboard ranks your advocates by referrals and by the value of what closed.
  2. Follow the money through. A referral that becomes a deal that becomes revenue stays attributed to the person who started it. You see the true value of a champion, not just a count.

3Reward and repeat

Rewards
Track what each advocate has earned and what's been paid, so nobody's favor goes unthanked.
The relationship graph
Referred-by links live on contact cards, so who introduced whom survives staff changes and long gaps.
Say thank you on time
Wire a small automation: when a referred deal closes, open a task to thank the referrer that week. It's the cheapest growth lever you have.
Your gone-quiet champions are worth a check-in even when there's no referral in flight. ARC's brief will surface them; see the next guide.
