Events: Zoom meetings and webinars

Create a webinar, let a form register people automatically, and watch attendance mark itself.

About 9 minutes · Reaching out

Events runs your Zoom meetings and webinars from inside TenthAvenue. Create the Zoom event here, let a form register people automatically with their own personal join links, watch the roster live on real contact records, and let attendance mark itself when it's over. No CSV exports, no matching spreadsheets after.

1Connect Zoom

  1. Open Events and press Connect Zoom. Approve the permission screen with the Zoom account that hosts your meetings. Webinars need a Zoom plan that includes them; regular meetings work on any Zoom plan.
  2. Disconnect any time. One click next to the account name signs it out and revokes the token. Your events, registrations, and contacts stay put.

2Create an event

  1. Press New event. Pick meeting or webinar, set the time, and TenthAvenue creates it in Zoom with registration switched on, and publishes a registration form, all in the same click.
  2. Or import one that already exists. Pick from your upcoming Zoom events, or paste any Zoom link or ID, and it becomes a TenthAvenue event with its roster pulled in.
  3. Add presenters. For webinars, add each presenter by name and email. Zoom invites them with a personal panelist link, which you can also copy from the event page. Meetings support alternative hosts the same way.
Change the time later and Zoom updates in place. Every join link already sent keeps working. Cancelling here can delete the Zoom side too, your choice.

3Let a form fill the seats

  1. Link a form to the event. Any TenthAvenue form can register people: add the event registration closing step in the form builder, or link the form from the event page.
  2. Every submission becomes a registrant. The person is created as a contact, registered in Zoom, and handed their personal join link on the thank-you screen and in the confirmation email.
  3. Approve manually if you want a velvet rope. Switch on approval mode and registrations wait for your yes. Approving writes through to Zoom and issues the join link.

4During and after

The event page numbers
Registrations by status, form views, view-to-registration conversion, and pending approvals, all at a glance.
Reminders
Switch on email or text reminders per event (1 week, 1 day, 1 hour, and 15 minutes before) and every registrant gets their personal join link again, branded with your logo, with texts going from your own Ping number to people who opted in on the form. Reschedule the event, here or in Zoom, and the reminders re-arm for the new time. For webinars, Zoom's own reminder emails sit right beside them, one checkbox each.
Attendance
After the event ends, every registrant flips to attended or no-show automatically. A background sweep handles it, or press Sync now for instant. Webinar no-shows come straight from Zoom's own absentee report.
Follow-up
Attendance lands on each contact's timeline, so "email everyone who didn't show" is a filter plus a campaign, not a project. Automations can fire on registration too.
Reminder sequences before the event, and different follow-ups for attendees versus no-shows, are the classic recipe here. Wire both in the Automations guide.
