Mailbox and Threads

Connect your work email so every message files itself onto the right person.

About 6 minutes · Reaching out

Connect your work email once and every message files itself onto the right person's card. No forwarding, no copy-paste, no "let me find that thread". Your whole team sees the relationship history without anyone doing anything.

1Connect your mailbox

  1. Open Inbox in the left menu and press Connect. Pick Outlook or Gmail and approve the permission screen. Each teammate connects their own mailbox.
  2. Give it a minute. The first sync pulls your recent mail and starts matching messages to contacts by every address you have on file for them.
Your connection is yours. Tokens are encrypted, private messages get a private mirror, and disconnecting removes what was synced. Your data leaves when your access does.

2Where your email shows up

Inbox
Your connected mailbox inside TenthAvenue, threaded and readable, with the CRM one click away.
The contact's Activity tab
Every matched message lands on the person's timeline, next to their calls, texts, and meetings. This is where "what's the story with this person" gets answered.
Threads
One chronological feed for the whole workspace: emails, notes, form submissions, and activity, org-wide, newest first. Good for a morning skim.

3Send as yourself

  1. Open a contact card and press Email. The message sends from your real mailbox, lands in your own Sent folder, and threads naturally on their end. Nothing about it looks like software.
  2. Replies come back matched. The whole back-and-forth stays on the contact's timeline.
One-to-one email from your real mailbox is for conversations. When you want to email a whole list with tracking and unsubscribe handling, that's Megaphone, the next guide over.

4Good to know

Matching
Messages match by any known address, including secondary emails. Add a person's other addresses to their card and their history fills in.
Engagement
Opens and clicks from campaigns show up as engagement on the record, and ARC uses reply activity to spot who's gone quiet.
Gmail note
Outlook connections are live for everyone. Gmail is built and finishing Google's app review, so if the Gmail button is waitlisted in your workspace, that's why.
